New Treehouse Cabins & Accessible Eco Lodge…
Three brand new, luxury glamping accommodations are now on our Meadow Glampsite!
There are: Two Treehouse Style Cabins and a fully accessible Eco Lodge.
This project is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the Just Transition Fund.
Each accommodation is beautifully designed with a unique theme inspired by the landscape, culture, & stories of the Irish Midlands.
The new glamping accommodations are larger, more luxurious, & more imaginative than anything we’ve done before.
(And that’s saying something, given that we’ve already created a hobbit village!).
Be first to stay in our new glamping accommodation.
The Meadow Glampsite has a relaxed charm, family friendly atmosphere and immersive nature vibes.
You can run through the wiggly paths in our 2 acres of wildflower meadows in the summertime!
(It’s great for hide and seek. And the dragonflies and butterflies love it too).
The new accommodations – and developments such as wheelchair accessible parking & patheways will make glamping more accessible to all our guests.
And, thanks to the energy efficient build, and the installation of solar panels, our glamping site will be be cosier, more sustainable, and more energy efficient too.
EU Just Transition
The Treehouse Cabins & Eco Lodge Project has been made possible thanks to support from the EU Just Transition Fund.
This project comprises the development of three imaginative self-catering accommodation units: Two Treehouse Style Cabins, and a universally accessible Eco Lodge, under category 2: Development of Sustainable/Low Carbon Tourist Accommodation at the Meadow Glampsite at Glamping Under The Stars.
This project aims to attract visitors from Ireland and overseas to the Midlands of Ireland, offering ‘wildly happy times’ within a unique glamping experience.
Set on a richly biodiverse site, the project aims to support regenerative tourism and benefit the local economy – both in Laois, and the wider Irish Midlands.
The project is part of the EU Just Transition Fund Regenerative Tourism and Placemaking Scheme (2023 – 2026) under the EU Just Transition Fund (EUJTF) 2021 – 2027.
The Scheme is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union, under the EU Just Transition Fund.
