The Home Place is a brand new, fully accessible eco lodge located on our pretty Meadow Glampsite

With a curved roof and cosy cabin vibes, The Home Place has 2 bedrooms, a fully accessible ensuite bathroom, kitchenette facilities, and a spacious covered patio that runs the length of the cabin.

This thoughtfully designed self-catering house is themed around the nature & history of the Abbeyliex Bog, and the wider Midlands of Ireland.

It is more luxurious and imaginative than anything we’ve done before.

(And that’s saying something, given that we’ve already created a hobbit village!)

The Home Place self-catering accommodation at Glamping Under The S tars, Co. Laois, Ireland. Looking into an unusual bedroom - set up as a double room (though beds can divide into twin). The bed is made with crisp white linen, with green toned blanket neatly tucked in atthe end of the bed, and darker green cushions on the pillows. The room has a high 'vaulted' ceiling which curves from one wall to the other, giving a high ceiling which feels both spacious and cosy. The walls and ceiling are 'colour drenched' in a soft green tone, which gives the room a peaceful vibe. There is a quirky circular window above the head of the bed, with handmade wooden shutters (open in the picture, to let lots of light flood in). Trees & foliage are visible through the window.<br />
There is also an ornamental halfdoor style door - the top half is a window, with the panes crossed into four. Through the window, warm sunlight and green leafy trees are visible. Either side of the window are deep green curtains with a sophisticated botanical print. From the centre of the ceiling hangs a glass lampshade, which casts patterned light onto the curved ceiling. It is a beautiful room.
