Glamping Under The Stars wins inaugural iGrant prize worth €2,000.
Chosen by an independent judging panel that included former international rugby player and businessman, Jamie Heaslip, ‘Glamping Under The Stars’ stood out from hundreds of entries from businesses all over Ireland to win the inaugural iRadio iGrant.
Picked for our fun, quirky, innovative business style, our glamping site is among a lucky few to receive a €2,000 advertising package from iRadio.
The ad, which airs for the first time on Tuesday 25th August, features a young woman who is desperate to get away to do “something different, something special, something fun”, and ultimately decides that toasting marshmallows under the stars would be the perfect trip.
It also highlights autumn availability through September & October, and encourages guests to book early for 2021.
Kyra, owner of Glamping Under The Stars, says, “The news that we were iGrant winners could not have come at a better time. The phone rang in the midst of lockdown uncertainty, and to be honest, things were looking a bit bleak. It was wonderful to hear that we had won the iGrant package. At that time, it was a real ray of hope, and it helped us to think positive and focus on the future.”
“We are delighted to have been chosen, and very excited to be working with iRadio. It’s one of our favourite radio stations, and we always have the AO Show blasting out the tunes on the school run in the mornings. We can’t wait to hear the Glamping Under The Stars ad when it goes live!”
The ad will run through the last week of August and the first week of September, and we hope guests will hear it and book for September & October, as well as booking ahead for 2021, (for which dates are already filling fast).
Kyra says, “We’ve already noticed a higher demand for autumn glamping this year, and our cosy wood lodges are perfect for this. They are very well insulated, and each one has a wood burning stove inside. So, if you didn’t get away this summer, you can still squeeze in a glamping trip with us.”
So, tune in to iRadio, and keep an ear out for the ad!
