Ready to Reopen on 29th June
The glampsite is now set to reopen on 29th June. And we’ve been busy making changes that will help us look after our guests & facilitate fun, as well as social distancing, in our post covid-19 world.
No Perspex
There’ll be no perspex screens here. All our accommodation is naturally well spaced out, with plenty of fresh air & green space in between.
Private Bathrooms
We have also added private bathrooms (one for each accommodation), so you can relax in luxury with complete peace of mind.
Private Facilities For Toasting Marshmallows
Each accommodation also has a private picnic table and a chimnea (outdoor stove), so you’ll get the full glamping experience, without having to get too close for comfort around the campfire.
And you WILL get to toast marshmallows under the stars!
The Glamp House
Our Glamp House kitchen will be open for guest use. We ask guests to be considerate towards each other when using this shared facility.
Minimising Touchpoints
We have had to remove some of our books, games, cushions & throws, as we look for ways to minimise ‘touchpoints’ around the site to improve guest safety
Guest Responsibilities
We ask our guests to respect social distancing, wash hands regularly, and check in a little later/check out a little earlier to give us time to clean the site to the highest standard.
Guests MUST NOT travel if you have any symptoms of covid-19. Please contact us to postpone your trip if you, or any of your group, have symptoms of coronavirus.
We Ask All Guests To:
- Respect social distancing of 2 metres onsite
- Remember to wash hands regularly
- Practise cough & sneeze etiquette on site
- Check in after 4pm
- Check out at 10am (to give us time to clean the site thoroughly for guests)
- Bring your own towels & toiletries for showers
- Strip your bed linen before check out
- Bed linen is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer
- *Please let us know if you do not require bed linen
Self Check-in
We have moved to ‘contactless’ Self Check In. Just go to your accommodation & text us to let us know that you have arrived. A member of our friendly team will come out between 4pm and 8pm, to check that you have everything you need, and to answer any questions you may have.
Enhanced Cleaning
We have also enhanced our cleaning processes and recruited additional cleaning staff to make sure that the glampsite is thoroughly & carefully cleaned. We have also added hand sanitising stations and additional washing up facilities in the interest of guest safety.
As always, our aim is to offer a great glamping trip, while also making sure we provide a safe and relaxing environment for all our guests.
Glamping with us is considered a low risk activity, given the small number of guests at our site and all the fresh air & outside space. Here’s to a happy holiday!
