Due to covid-19, Failte Ireland has released new guidelines for the hospitality sector, to help us protect guests & staff in a post-pandemic world.
This has meant some changes at our glampsite – including changes to check in times & procedures, and what you need to bring for your trip – which may differ from your original booking information and/or previous visit.
Please read carefully…
REMEMBER: You MUST NOT travel if you have any symptoms of covid-19. Please contact us to postpone your trip if you, or any of your group, have symptoms of coronavirus.
We Ask All Guests To:
- Respect social distancing of 2 metres onsite
- Remember to wash hands regularly
- Practise cough & sneeze etiquette on site
- Check in after 4pm
- Check out at 10am (to give us time to clean the site thoroughly for guests)
- Bring your own towels & toiletries for showers
- Strip your bed linen before check out
- Bed linen is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer
- *Please let us know if you do not require bed linen
You can avail of ‘contactless’ Self-Check In if you wish. Just go to your accommodation & text us to let us know that you have arrived.
Kyra will be here to show you around if you prefer, but please be patient if she is showing another guest around. We must adhere to social distancing and greet each group separately.
To ensure we comply with the guidelines and deliver the best possible experience, we have: installed private bathrooms for each accommodation, as well as a picnic table, chimnea (outdoor stove for toasting marshmallows) and cooking kit for food preparation.
The Glamp House kitchen/dining cabin will still be open for guest use, but we have removed shared cutlery, crockery, books & games and some seating, to facilitate social distancing. We ask guests to be considerate to each other in using these shared facilities. (Please be aware that others may wish to use them).
We have also enhanced our cleaning processes, and added hand sanitising stations and additional washing up facilities in the interest of guest safety.
Our aim is always to offer a great glamping trip, while also making sure we provide a safe and relaxing environment for you, our guest.
